Brasiliens Justiz lädt Präsident Bolsonaro zur Aussage bei der Polizei vor
Die brasilianische Justiz hat Präsident Jair Bolsonaro für Freitag zu einer Aussage bei der Polizei vorgeladen. Der rechtsradikale Staatschef soll sich am Nachmittag (Ortszeit) zu seinen Vorwürfen äußern, mit denen er die Glaubwürdigkeit des elektronischen Wahlsystems in Zweifel zog.
Bolsonaro konnte sich bis zum Freitag einen Tag und einen Ort für das Verhör durch die Polizei aussuchen. Dieses Angebot habe er aber nicht angenommen, erklärte Alexandre de Moraes, Richter am Obersten Gerichtshof Brasiliens.
Die Vorladung für den Termin am Freitag erfolgte im Rahmen eines Ermittlungsverfahrens, das seit August 2021 läuft. Es war eröffnet worden, weil Bolsonaro in sozialen Netzwerken einen als vertraulich eingestuften Polizeibericht verbreitet hatte, in dem es um eine Cyberattacke auf das oberste Wahlgericht 2018 ging.
Bolsonaro stellt das System der elektronischen Wahl seit Jahren in Frage und spricht in diesem Zusammenhang von "Fälschungen", ohne Beweise vorzulegen.
Wegen seiner fortlaufend geäußerten Zweifel am Wahlsystem läuft gegen Bolsonaro ein Verfahren wegen "Verleumdung" und "Anstachelung zu Straftaten" am Obersten Gerichtshof.
Bolsonaro steht auch im Visier der Justiz, weil er einen möglichen Korruptionsversuch im Zusammenhang mit dem Kauf des indischen Corona-Vakzins Coxavin nicht gemeldet haben soll und weil er ein Video mit Falschinformationen über einen Zusammenhang zwischen dem Impfstoff und der Aids-Krankheit verbreitet hat.
