Russischer Außenminister Lawrow spricht bei UN-Generaldebatte
Bei der UN-Generaldebatte in New York spricht am Samstag der russische Außenminister Sergej Lawrow. Die Rede vor der UN-Vollversammlung wird vor dem Hintergrund des russischen Angriffskriegs gegen die Ukraine mit besonderer Spannung erwartet. Lawrow hatte bereits am Donnerstag eine Rede vor dem UN-Sicherheitsrat gehalten, dabei schwere Vorwürfe gegen die Ukraine erhoben - und den Saal nach seiner Rede verlassen. Am Samstag wird vor der UN-Vollversammlung auch der chinesische Außenminister Wang Yi sprechen.
Das diplomatische Spitzentreffen in New York hatte am Dienstag begonnen und läuft noch bis Montag. Die Generaldebatte steht in diesem Jahr im Zeichen des Ukraine-Kriegs, der in dieser Woche durch die russische Teilmobilmachung weiter eskalierte.
