SPD vor Landtagswahl in Niedersachsen laut Umfrage weiter vorn
Etwas mehr als eine Woche vor der Wahl in Niedersachsen liegt die SPD von Ministerpräsident Stephan Weil in einer neuen Umfrage weiterhin vorn. Die Sozialdemokraten kommen in der am Mittwochabend von niedersächsischen Tageszeitungen veröffentlichten Forsa-Umfrage auf 31 Prozent, wenn bereits am Sonntag gewählt würde. Die CDU um Vize-Ministerpräsident und Landeswirtschaftsminister Bernd Althusmann erreicht 27 Prozent.
Die Grünen kommen auf 19 Prozent, die AfD wird bei neun Prozent verortet. Die FDP erreicht fünf Prozent und müsste um den Wiedereinzug in den Landtag in Hannover bangen. Die Linke liegt bei drei Prozent und würde damit erneut an der Fünf-Prozent-Hürde scheitern. In Niedersachsen wird am 9. Oktober ein neuer Landtag gewählt. Derzeit regiert dort eine große Koalition aus SPD und CDU.
Der Umfrage zufolge sind 48 Prozent der Befragten mit Ministerpräsident Weil zufrieden. Bei einer hypothetischen Direktwahl des Regierungschefs würden 35 Prozent für ihn stimmen, 16 Prozent für seinen Herausforderer Althusmann.
Für die Umfrage wurden knapp 2000 Wahlberechtigte befragt. Das Institut Forsa interviewte diese in der Zeit zwischen dem 15. und dem 21. September.
