Lindner: Auch Länder müssen bei Krisenhilfe ihren Beitrag leisten
Bundesfinanzminister Christian Lindner (FDP) hat die Länder zu einer finanziellen Beteiligung an den Entlastungen wegen der Energiekrise aufgefordert. "Man muss sich gegenseitig helfen", schrieb Lindner am Dienstag auf Twitter vor dem Treffen von Bundeskanzler Olaf Scholz (SPD) mit den Regierungschefinnen und -chefs der Länder. "Es kann aber nicht sein, dass Länder Überschüsse erzielen und der Bund trotz roter Zahlen Krisenmanagement machen muss."
Die Menschen erwarteten, "dass alle staatlichen Ebenen ihren Beitrag leisten, um ohne großen Schaden durch diese Zeit kommen", schrieb Lindner. Am Dienstagnachmittag kommen die Länderchefinnen und -chefs mit Scholz zusammen, um über das bereits beschlossene dritte Entlastungspaket sowie die Finanzierung des geplanten 200 Milliarden Euro schweren Abwehrschirms zu beraten, der unter anderem eine Gaspreisbremse vorsieht. Die Länder drängen den Bund, einen größeren Anteil an den Lasten zu übernehmen.
