Dänische Regierungschefin kündigt vorgezogene Neuwahlen am 1. November an
Die dänische Ministerpräsidentin Mette Frederiksen hat vorgezogene Neuwahlen für den 1. November ausgerufen. Sie habe Königin Margrethe über diesen Wahltermin unterrichtet, teilte die sozialdemokratische Regierungschefin am Mittwoch in Kopenhagen mit. Sie gab damit einem Ultimatum einer kleinen verbündeten Partei nach, welche mit dem Sturz der Regierung gedroht hatte, sollten bis Donnerstag keine Neuwahlen angekündigt werden.
Den regierenden Sozialdemokraten von Frederiksen wird bei der vorgezogenen Parlamentswahl ein Bündnis aus rechten und ultrarechten Parteien gegenüberstehen. Die jüngsten Umfragen fallen äußerst knapp aus. Demnach kommt der "rote Block" unter Führung der Sozialdemokraten auf 47 bis 50 Prozent. Der "blaue Block" aus Liberalen, Konservativen und drei rechtspopulistischen Parteien kommt demnach auf 49 bis 50 Prozent.
Ohne Unterstützung der Abgeordneten aus Grönland und den Färöer-Inseln käme den Umfragen zufolge keiner der beiden Blöcke auf eine Mehrheit der Sitze im Folketing.
