Der deutsche Eishockey-Nationalverteidiger Moritz Seider hat mit den Detroit Red Wings einen weiteren Sieg in der nordamerikanischen Profiliga NHL gefeiert. Gegen die Arizona Coyotes gab es einen 4:3-Erfolg im Penaltyschießen, der Ex-Mannheimer spielte 26:43 Minuten, konnte allerdings keinen Scorerpunkt verzeichnen. Den entscheidenden Penalty verwandelte Dylan Larkin für die Red Wings.
Der deutsche Stürmer John-Jason Peterka verlor hingegen mit den Buffalo Sabres 1:3 gegen die New Jersey Devils. JJ Peterka kam 14:20 Minuten zum Einsatz und konnte ebenfalls keinen Scorerpunkt erzielen.
