Jung-Papa Schröder fehlt bei Lakers-Sieg
Ohne Jung-Papa Dennis Schröder (29) sind die Los Angeles Lakers in der nordamerikanischen Basketball-Profiliga NBA zu einem 133:129-Sieg bei den Milwaukee Bucks gekommen. Der Kapitän des Deutschen Basketball Bundes (DBB) erhielt von seinem Klub eine Freistellung für die Begegnung, Schröder war zum dritten Mal Vater geworden.
Schröders Ehefrau Ellen brachte in den USA das Kind zur Welt. "Wir sind jetzt Fünf", schrieb der 29-Jährige aus Braunschweig am Freitagabend deutscher Zeit bei Instagram und veröffentlichte Fotos vom Nachwuchs. Schröder war zuvor bereits Vater eines Sohnes (Dennis Malick jr.) und einer Tochter (Imalia Aaliya).
Überragender Mann aufseiten der Lakers in Milwaukee war Forward Anthony Davies mit 44 Punkte, zehn Rebounds und vier Assists. LA-Ass LeBron James kam auf 28 Zähler, acht Rebounds und elf Assists. Der griechische Starspieler bei den Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo, erzielte 40 Zähler, sieben Rebounds und fünf Assists.
