51 Punkte: Doncic führt Mavericks zum Sieg
Ausnahmekönner Luka Doncic hat die Dallas Mavericks in der nordamerikanischen Profiliga NBA mit einer erneut starken Leistung zum sechsten Sieg in Folge geführt. Doncic glänzte beim knappen 126:125-Erfolg bei den San Antonio Spurs mit 51 Punkten, neun Assists und sechs Rebounds. Dallas steht mit nun 21 Siegen auf Platz vier in der Western Conference.
"Ich bin erschöpft", sagte Doncic: "Unsere Verteidigung war nicht gut. Insgesamt haben wir das Spiel gewonnen, und das war's." Der 23-Jährige knackte zum dritten Mal in den letzten fünf Spielen die 50-Punkte-Marke. Am Dienstag waren Doncic sogar 60 Punkte gelungen.
Auch der deutsche Profi Isaiah Hartenstein konnte mit den New York Knicks einen Sieg einfahren. Bei den Houston Rockets setzte sich das Team des 24-Jährigen mit 108:88 durch und gewann erstmals wieder nach zuvor fünf Niederlagen in Serie. Hartenstein steuerte in knapp 15 Minuten Einsatzzeit vier Rebounds und ein Assist bei. Die Knicks liegen mit nun 19 Siegen aus 37 Spielen auf Rang acht der Eastern Conference.
