Die Gunners verloren beim FC Everton 0:1 (0:0) und liegen nach 20 Spielen nur noch fünf Punkte vor Manchester City. Der Titelverteidiger könnte am Sonntag (17.30 Uhr/Sky) mit einem Sieg bei Tottenham Hotspur auf zwei Punkte verkürzen.
Weit weg von der Tabellenspitze ist der FC Liverpool mit Teammanager Jürgen Klopp. Nach der 0:3 (0:2)-Pleite bei den Wolverhampton Wanderers sind die Reds seit vier Ligaspielen ohne Sieg und laufen als Zehnter den eigenen Ansprüchen meilenweit hinterher.
