Premier League wirft ManCity Verstoß gegen Finanzregeln vor
Der englische Fußball-Meister Manchester City muss sich wegen möglicher Verstöße gegen die Finanzregeln der Premier League vor einer unabhängigen Kommission verantworten. Das teilte die Liga am Montag mit.
Demnach werden City Verstöße in jeder Saison von 2009 bis 2018 vorgeworfen. Die Europäische Fußball-Union (UEFA) hatte City wegen Missachtung des Financial Fairplay in den Jahren von 2012 bis 2016 zwischenzeitlich vom Europapokal ausgeschlossen, das Urteil hatte jedoch keinen Bestand.
