NBA: Wagner-Brüder siegen mit Orlando gegen die Knicks
Die Brüder Franz und Moritz Wagner haben in der nordamerikanischen Basketball-Profiliga NBA mit ihren Orlando Magic einen Sieg eingefahren. Beim 111:106 gegen die New York Knicks gehörten die deutschen Nationalspieler erneut zu den auffälligen Akteuren. Der 21-jährige Franz Wagner erzielte in der Nacht zum Freitag als Starter 16 Punkte, sein älterer Bruder Moritz kam von der Bank auf elf Zähler.
Die Play-off-Chancen der Wagner-Brüder bleiben jedoch gering. In der Eastern Conference liegt Orlando mit 31 Siegen und 43 Niederlagen auf Rang 13. Die Knicks, bei denen Isaiah Hartenstein in 16 Einsatzminuten auf sechs Punkte kam, rangieren hingegen auf Platz 5 und steuern mit 42 Siegen klar auf Play-off-Kurs.
