Draisaitl trifft: Oilers schlagen Top-Team Vegas
Eishockey-Star Leon Draisaitl hat mit den Edmonton Oilers durch den nächsten Sieg weiter Kurs auf die Play-offs in der NHL genommen. Der gebürtige Kölner steuerte einen Treffer und einen Assist zum 7:4-Erfolg bei den Vegas Golden Knights bei, es waren die Scorerpunkte 115 und 116 in der laufenden Saison für den Ausnahmespieler.
Edmonton sprang durch den siebten Sieg in den vergangenen acht Spielen auf den vierten Tabellenplatz im Westen, Erster ist Vegas. Erst am Montag (Ortszeit) hatte Draisaitl die magische Marke von 300 Treffern in der nordamerikanischen Profiliga geknackt.
Auch für Moritz Seider und die Detroit Red Wings gab es einen klaren Erfolg. Gegen die Pittsburgh Penguins siegten die Kanadier mit 7:4, Verteidiger Seider lieferte zwei Assists. Die Red Wings haben als Siebter der Atlantic Division aber keine realistische Chance mehr auf eine Play-off-Teilnahme.
Angreifer Nico Sturm beendete mit den San Jose Sharks unterdessen die heftige Niederlagenserie von neun Pleiten am Stück und steuerte einen Assist zum 3:0-Erfolg gegen die Winnipeg Jets bei. Die Sharks verließen damit den letzten Platz im Westen.
