Badstuber: EM-Uhr tickt gegen Flick
Hansi Flick sollte die Testphase in der deutschen Fußball-Nationalmannschaft aus Sicht von Holger Badstuber schleunigst beenden. Der Bundestrainer sei zwar "weiterhin der richtige Mann", schrieb der frühere Nationalspieler in seinem Blog, aber: "Die Uhr bis zum EM-Start tickt trotzdem gegen ihn."
Flick müsse die Experimente "beenden und einen Stamm aus 14 bis 16 Spielern bilden - und zwar schnell! Diese Formation muss sich einspielen, lernen, sich aufeinander zu verlassen, Abläufe automatisieren", forderte der WM-Teilnehmer von 2010 und frühere Bayern-Profi.
Die ersten 30 Minuten im Länderspiel gegen Belgien (2:3) nannte der 34-Jährige "ein Desaster" und kritisierte die Einstellung: "Es ist mir unerklärlich, dass sich Spieler, die sich zur Elite des deutschen Fußballs zählen dürfen, nicht für dieses Trikot zerreißen, nicht alles reinhauen, ohne Emotionen spielen."
Badstuber forderte: "Wir brauchen Ehre, Stolz und Aufopferung in jedem Spiel!" Außerdem schlug er vor, die Probleme auf der Position des Rechtsverteidigers mit der Versetzung von Kapitän Joshua Kimmich in die Abwehr zu lösen. Grundsätzlich gelte: "Flick muss sich entscheiden, auf wen er setzt. Knallhart."
