Durch einen 5:0 (2:0)-Kantersieg gegen den damit abgestiegenen AC Ajaccio wahrte das Starensemble um den zurückgekehrten Weltfußballer Lionel Messi seinen Vorsprung auf Verfolger RC Lens. Drei Spieltage vor Schluss beträgt das Polster sechs Punkte.
Fabian Ruiz (22.) und der ehemalige Dortmunder Achraf Hakimi (33.) brachten den Meister im heimischen Prinzenpark in Führung.
