Fall Vinicius: Rio de Janeiro will Fußballspiele bei Rassismus abbrechen
Nach den rassistischen Anfeindungen gegen den brasilianischen Nationalspieler Vinicius Jr. hat der Bundesstaat Rio de Janeiro einen Gesetzesentwurf zum Abbruch von Fußballspielen verabschiedet. Jener sieht vor, Partien "im Falle einer Beschwerde oder eines erwiesenen rassistischen Verhaltens" für eine vom Organisator festzulegende Dauer zu unterbrechen - oder bei wiederholten Vorkommnissen oder Fehlverhalten von Gruppen komplett auszusetzen.
Der Entwurf folgt auf erneute rassistische Beleidigungen gegen Stürmer Vinicius von Real Madrid. Vinicius wurde seit seinem Wechsel in die spanische Hauptstadt im Jahr 2018 immer wieder Ziel rassistischer Angriffe. Zuletzt wurde er Ende Mai beim Duell beim FC Valencia mit Beleidigungen und Affenlauten bedacht. Der Fall hatte international Empörung ausgelöst, Vinicius erhielt viel Zuspruch aus Sport, Politik und Gesellschaft.
