Offiziell: FC Bayern verpflichtet Laimer
Fußball-Rekordmeister Bayern München hat seinen ersten Sommertransfer unter Dach und Fach gebracht. Wie der Verein am Freitag mitteilte, wechselt Konrad Laimer wie erwartet von Pokalsieger RB Leipzig nach München. Der österreichische Nationalspieler kommt ablösefrei und erhält bei den Bayern einen Vierjahresvertrag bis 2027.
"Für mich geht ein Traum in Erfüllung. Der FC Bayern ist einer der größten Klubs der Welt", sagte der 26 Jahre alte Mittelfeldspieler. Der neue Bayern-Vorstandsvorsitzende Jan-Christian Dreesen freute sich über die Ankunft des "neuen, alten DFB-Pokalsiegers. Gemeinsam werden wir jetzt hier beim FC Bayern hoffentlich noch viele weitere große Siege und Titel feiern."
Laimers Wechsel nach München galt schon seit längerem als perfekt, der zentrale Mittelfeldspieler galt als Wunschspieler des mittlerweile entlassenen Bayern-Trainers Julian Nagelsmann. Laimer war 2017 von RB Salzburg nach Leipzig gewechselt, für die Sachsen bestritt er in sechs Jahren 190 Pflichtspiele.
