Boateng-Prozess geht im September in die dritte Runde
Der Prozess gegen den früheren Fußball-Nationalspieler Jérôme Boateng wegen des Vorwurfs der Körperverletzung geht im September in die dritte Runde. Das Bayerische Oberste Landesgericht teilte am Mittwoch in München mit, dass es am 21. September mündlich über die Revision in dem Fall verhandeln wird. Es ist schon das dritte Gericht, das sich mit den Vorwürfen befasst, dass Boateng seine Ex-Freundin verletzt und beleidigt haben soll.
Im November hatte das Landgericht München I Boateng im Berufungsprozess zu einer Strafe von 120 Tagessätzen à 10.000 Euro wegen Körperverletzung verurteilt. Es sah als erwiesen an, dass der 34-Jährige seine frühere Partnerin während eines Karibikurlaubs vor mehr drei Jahren verletzt und beleidigt habe. So habe er eine Kühltasche in ihre Richtung geworfen und ihr außerdem bei einer körperlichen Auseinandersetzung ein blaues Auge zugefügt.
Sowohl Boateng selbst als auch die Staatsanwaltschaft und die als Nebenklägerin auftretende Frau legten gegen das Urteil Revision beim Obersten Landesgericht ein. Sollte das Urteil rechtskräftig werden, wäre Boateng vorbestraft. Der Fußballer gehörte zu der deutschen Nationalmannschaft, die 2014 in Brasilien den Weltmeistertitel holte.
