Die deutschen Basketballer haben bei der Weltmeisterschaft das Schlüsselspiel gegen Australien gewonnen und stehen dicht vor dem Einzug in die Zwischenrunde. Auch ohne den verletzten NBA-Profi Franz Wagner schlug das Team von Bundestrainer Gordon Herbert den Titelkandidaten auf Okinawa im zweiten Vorrundenspiel 85:82 (49:44), die Chancen auf den Gruppensieg sind nun groß.
