Bundestrainer: Hopp würde Nagelsmann-Berufung begrüßen
Sein früherer Förderer Dietmar Hopp würde die Berufung von Julian Nagelsmann zum neuen Fußball-Bundestrainer begrüßen. "Ich bin überzeugt davon, dass er neben seiner fachlichen Qualität durch seine persönliche Art der Ansprache die Nationalmannschaft und die Fans gleichermaßen begeistern wird", sagte der Mehrheitseigner des Bundesligisten TSG Hoffenheim bei Sky.
"Julians außergewöhnliches Talent war schon früh zu erkennen. So war es für mich und Alex Rosen damals nicht allzu schwer, ihn zu fördern und den Mut aufzubringen, ihm mit 28 Jahren ein Bundesliga-Team anzuvertrauen", äußerte Hopp: "Er hat bei der TSG Hoffenheim herausragende Arbeit geleistet und das Vertrauen, das wir in ihn gesetzt haben, zurückgezahlt. Julian macht jeden Spieler besser. Mit ihm ist uns der Durchmarsch aus dem Abstiegskampf bis in die Champions League gelungen."
