Terzic träumt vom Finale: "Wir werden alles versuchen"
BVB-Trainer Edin Terzic hat nach dem Einzug ins Halbfinale der Champions League das Finale in Wembley als Ziel ausgegeben. "Wenn man schon mal da ist, macht es auch Sinn, ums Finale zu kämpfen", sagte Terzic nach dem 4:2 (2:0) im Rückspiel gegen Atletico Madrid bei Prime Video und versprach: "Wir werden alles versuchen."
Gegner in der Vorschlussrunde ist Paris St. Germain, gegen den französischen Meister war der BVB in den Gruppenspielen (1:1, 0:2) ohne Sieg geblieben. "Auswärts hatten wir ein bisschen Probleme gegen Paris, im Heimspiel haben wir ein gutes Spiel gezeigt. Wenn man sieht, wie wir uns entwickelt haben, wie gefestigt das jetzt wirkt – dann wollen wir das jetzt auch nutzen", sagte Terzic.
Ähnlich offensiv äußerte sich Niclas Füllkrug. "Jetzt gibt's nur noch ein Ziel: Wembley", sagte der Nationalspieler: "Wir freuen uns riesig auf das, was in zwei Wochen schon kommt. Das ist ab jetzt definitiv das Ziel, alles andere wäre Quatsch, das nicht auszusprechen."
