Bahnrad: Brennauer und Kröger kämpfen um Gold - Hinze stark
Die deutschen Bahnrad-Asse haben bei den Europameisterschaften in München die nächsten Medaillen sicher. Einen Tag nach dem goldenen Auftakt zogen die Ausdauerspezialistinnen Lisa Brennauer und Mieke Kröger in das Gold-Finale in der Einerverfolgung ein. Auch die Sprinterinnen Emma Hinze und Pauline Grabosch weckten Hoffnungen auf weiteres Edelmetall.
Weltmeisterin Brennauer sorgte am Samstagvormittag in 3:21,138 Minuten für die Bestzeit in der Qualifikation und untermauerte ihre Favoritenrolle für das Finale am Abend (18.28 Uhr/ZDF/ZDF-Mediathek). Kröger (3:23,569) lag als Zweite mehr als zwei Sekunden hinter Brennauer. Brennauer und Kröger hatten am Freitag an der Seite von Lisa Klein und Franziska Brauße Gold in der Mannschaftsverfolgung gewonnen.
Hinze hatte zuvor die Qualifikation im nicht-olympischen 500-m-Zeitfahren für sich entschieden. Die 24-Jährige aus Cottbus stellte in 32,732 Sekunden die deutliche Bestzeit auf. Grabosch (+ 0,812) lag als Vierte in Schlagdistanz zu den Podestplätzen. Die Medaillen werden ab 17.58 Uhr vergeben. Hinze und Grabosch waren am Freitag im Teamsprint gemeinsam zum EM-Titel gerast.
