Nach Manuel Neuer und Leon Goretzka ist am Mittwoch auch Julian Brandt aus dem Teamhotel der deutschen Fußball-Nationalmannschaft abgereist. Der Offensivspieler von Borussia Dortmund hat laut Mitteilung des Deutschen Fußball-Bundes (DFB) einen grippalen Infekt, er wird die kommenden Nations-League-Spiele gegen Ungarn in Leipzig am Freitag und gegen England in London am Montag somit ebenfalls verpassen.

Ein Corona-Test bei Brandt sei allerdings negativ ausgefallen. Neuer und Goretzka waren positiv auf COVID-19 getestet worden und ebenfalls abgereist.
