Schwer verletzter Eintracht-Fan wieder in der Heimat
Der bei den Ausschreitungen in Marseille schwer verletzte Fan von Eintracht Frankfurt konnte nach acht Tagen in die Heimat zurückkehren. Dies teilte der Fußball-Bundesligist am Donnerstag mit. Demnach landete der Mann aus Friedrichsdorf am Mittwochabend am Frankfurter Flughafen und sei anschließend für die weitere Behandlung in die Frankfurter Unfallklinik verlegt worden.
Der eigentlich unbeteiligte Anhänger war beim Auswärtsspiel bei Olympique (1:0) von einer Rakete am Hals getroffen worden und daraufhin die Treppe hinunter gestürzt. Wegen der Halsverletzung hatte er viel Blut verloren, außerdem brach er sich bei dem Sturz drei Rippen sowie einen Halswirbel. Seit dem 13. September war er in einem Krankenhaus von Marseille in Behandlung.
"Wir wünschen dir von der Mannschaft gute Besserung", sagte SGE-Kapitän Sebastian Rode in einer Videobotschaft: "Was in Marseille passiert ist, ist ein absolutes Unding. Wir hoffen, dass es dir schnell wieder besser geht und du bald wieder im Stadion mit uns feiern kannst."
