Daichi Kamada hat den deutschen WM-Gruppengegner Japan zum Testspiel-Sieg gegen die USA in Düsseldorf geführt. Der Fußball-Profi von Eintracht Frankfurt erzielte beim 2:0 (1:0) den Führungstreffer (24.) für die Asiaten, Kaoru Mitoma (88.) traf spät zur Entscheidung.
Die Japaner, am 23. November erster Gegner der DFB-Elf in Katar, zeigten sich spielfreudig und hatten mit Maya Yoshida (Schalke) und Wataru Endo (Stuttgart) zwei weitere Bundesliga-Profis in der Startaufstellung.
