Svensson: Klopp und Tuchel haben "Fundament" in Mainz gelegt
Jürgen Klopp und Thomas Tuchel haben aus Sicht von Trainer Bo Svensson das "Fundament" für die erfolgreiche Arbeit beim Fußball-Bundesligisten FSV Mainz 05 gelegt. "Ich habe mir viel von beiden abgeschaut. Sie haben die Philosophie der Mannschaft festgelegt, wir ergänzen diese nur", sagte der Däne im Interview mit dem Sportradio Deutschland.
Es gebe in Mainz "gute Bedingungen, um sich als Trainer weiterzuentwickeln". Dies habe auch mit den früheren FSV-Trainern Klopp (2001-2008) und Tuchel (2009-2014) zu tun.
Zudem habe Sportvorstand Christian Heidel "häufig mutige Entscheidungen für den Trainerjob getroffen. So war es bei mir auch, es hätte sicherlich namhaftere Trainer als mich gegeben", sagte Svensson, der im Januar 2021 den Posten übernommen hatte.
