Siegtor in letzter Sekunde: Flensburg schlägt Meister Magdeburg
Handball-Meister SC Magdeburg hat im sechsten Bundesligaspiel der Saison die erste Niederlage kassiert. Bei der SG Flensburg-Handewitt verlor der Titelverteidiger am Samstagabend nach einem Spektakel mit 34:35 (13:17). Den entscheidenden Flensburger Treffer erzielte Mads Mensah Larsen in allerletzter Sekunde.
"Ich kann es nicht beschreiben. Es ist echt bitter", sagte SCM-Linksaußen Lukas Mertens bei Sky: "Wir haben eine super zweite Halbzeit gespielt, darauf können wir aufbauen."
Flensburg dagegen fand nach der ersten Saisonniederlage gegen die Rhein-Neckar Löwen in der vergangenen Woche eindrucksvoll zurück in die Spur. Bester Werfer bei den Norddeutschen war Emil Jakobsen mit zwölf Treffern.
