Astana: Djokovic im Halbfinale gegen Medwedew
Novak Djokovic hat beim ATP-Turnier in Astana seine starke Form bestätigt. Die Nummer vier der Setzliste besiegte Karen Chatschanow 6:4, 6:3 und bleibt damit im Turnier weiterhin ohne Satzverlust. "Ich erwarte immer viel von mir selbst, hoffentlich kann ich mein Spiel morgen nochmal steigern", sagte der Serbe nach der Partie selbstkritisch.
Djokovic, der seit der Viertelfinal-Niederlage gegen Rafael Nadal bei den French Open Ende Mai bei offiziellen ATP-Turnieren nicht mehr verloren hat, trifft am Samstag im Halbfinale auf Daniil Medwedew (Nr. 2). Der US-Open-Sieger von 2021 zeigte ebenfalls eine dominante Leistung und schlug den Spanier Roberto Bautista Agut mit 6:1, 6:1.
