Deutschland erlebt nassesten April seit 15 Jahren
Der April ist laut dem Deutschen Wetterdienst (DWD) recht regnerisch ausgefallen. Erstmals seit 15 Jahren sei der vierte Monat des Jahres in Deutschland wieder zu nass gewesen, berichtete der DWD nach der vorläufigen Auswertung seiner Messungen am Freitag. Die rund 64 gefallenen Liter Regenwasser pro Quadratmeter lagen demnach zehn Prozent über dem Wert der international gültigen Referenzperiode von 1961 bis 1990.
Die Vegetation habe sich nach den vielen Niederschlägen der vergangenen Monate "allmählich kräftig grün" gefärbt, teilten die Wetterexperten weiter mit. Die durchschnittliche Temperatur von etwa 7,5 Grad Celsius war hingegen unauffällig. Besonders sei jedoch gewesen, dass erstmals seit 2008 im April kein einziger Sommertag mit mehr als 25 Grad Celsius beobachtet wurde.
