Jeder fünfte Mensch in Deutschland nutzte bereits KI-Chatbot ChatGPT
Rund jeder fünfte Mensch in Deutschland hat einer Umfrage des Digitalverbands Bitkom zufolge bereits den Chatbot ChatGPT ausprobiert. In der Altersgruppe der 16- bis 29-Jährigen liege der Anteil mit 37 Prozent am höchsten, berichtete Bitkom am Mittwoch in Berlin. "Wir erleben gerade, wie Künstliche Intelligenz in unseren beruflichen und privaten Alltag einzieht", erklärte Verbandspräsident Achim Berg - und mahnte zugleich: "Deshalb müssen wir heute damit anfangen, jede und jeden dazu zu befähigen, diese Technologien einsetzen zu können."
Über alle Altersstufen hinweg verwendeten der repräsentativen Erhebung zufolge 19 Prozent der Menschen in Deutschland schon einmal ChatGPT. 25 Prozent oder ein weiteres Viertel kann sich dies künftig vorstellen. 21 Prozent hörten demnach allerdings noch nicht von der Software, die beliebige Nutzeranfragen verarbeitet und daraus in Sekundenschnelle komplexe schriftliche Antworten erzeugt. Laut Bitkom wurden rund tausend Menschen befragt.
ChatGPT ist ein auf fortschrittlicher KI-Technologie basierendes Chatprogramm des Startups OpenAI, das seit November für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich ist. Auch größere Unternehmen entwickelten inzwischen vergleichbare Chatbots. Das Potenzial löst neben Begeisterung auch massive Befürchtungen aus. Es gibt deshalb unter anderem Forderungen, dass die Politik die Entwicklung reguliert.
