Ein Drittel verzichtet im Urlaub eher auf Freunde und Familie als auf Smartphone
Auch im Urlaub ist vielen Deutschen ihr Smartphone wichtig. Jede und jeder Dritte würde einer Umfrage zufolge eher auf Freunde und Familie verzichten als auf das eigene Smartphone, wie die am Mittwoch vorgestellte Erhebung des Branchenverbands Bitkom ergab. Für diese wurden rund tausend Menschen ab 16 Jahren repräsentativ befragt, darunter 721, die generell Urlaub machen und ein Smartphone nutzen.
Unter den Jüngeren zwischen 16 und 29 Jahren sind es demnach sogar 37 Prozent, die lieber auf Freunde und Familie statt auf das Smartphone verzichten würden. Bei den Über-64-Jährigen sind es hingegen nur 18 Prozent. Insgesamt fänden es zudem 29 Prozent weniger schlimm, auf der Anreise zum Urlaub ihr Gepäck zu verlieren als ihr Smartphone. Freiwillig will laut Umfrage niemand auf das Smartphone verzichten: Keiner der Befragten gab an, das Gerät bewusst nicht mit in den Urlaub zu nehmen.
18 Prozent sagten hingegen, dass sie das Mobiltelefon im Urlaub sogar häufiger nutzen als im Alltag. Wie sehr das Smartphone zum selbstverständlichen Reisebegleiter wurde, zeigt auch, dass vier von zehn Urlauberinnen und Urlaubern für ihren Urlaub spezielle Apps wie Reiseführer oder Währungsrechner auf ihrem Smartphone installieren. Besonders beliebt sind diese aber laut Erhebung bei Jüngeren: Während unter den 16- bis 29-Jährigen mit 46 Prozent knapp die Hälfte solche Reiseapps installiert, sind es bei den Über-64-Jährigen nur 14 Prozent.
