Katze auf Autobahn in Hessen aus fahrendem Auto geworfen und überrollt
In Hessen ist eine Katze auf der Autobahn 66 aus einem fahrenden Auto geworfen und überrollt worden. Es werde wegen eines grausamen Falls von Tiermisshandlung ermittelt, teilte das Polizeipräsidium in Offenbach am Montag mit. Eine Autofahrerin hatte demnach am Freitag beobachtet, wie eine Katze aus einem Auto heraus augenscheinlich auf die Fahrbahn geworfen wurde.
Die Katze mit weiß-schwarz-braunem Fell irrte anschließend noch kurz auf der vierspurigen Schnellstraße umher, ehe sie von nachfolgenden Fahrzeugen überrollt und getötet wurde. Die Polizei sucht nun weitere Hinweise unter anderem zu dem unbekannten schwarzen Auto, in dem sich die Katze befand und das nach dem Vorfall einfach weiterfuhr.
Ersten Erkenntnissen zufolge war das Tier zwar gechipt, die Ermittlungen auf die Besitzerin oder den Besitzer liefen den Angaben zufolge zunächst aber ins Leere. Die Polizei ermittelt wegen des Verdachts eines Verstoßes nach dem Tierschutzgesetz beziehungsweise des gefährlichen Eingriffs in den Straßenverkehr.
