Die Schauspielerin Iris Berben würde gern die Welt in einigen hundert oder tausend Jahren erleben. "Es ärgert mich einfach, dass ich nicht mitkriege, wie es in 100, 500 oder 2000 Jahren aussieht", sagte die 72-Jährige der "Neuen Osnabrücker Zeitung" vom Freitag. "Das ist es, was mich am Tod so wütend macht."
Ihr gehe es nicht darum, unsterblich und vor allem nicht "forever young" zu sein. "Aber ich bin wahnsinnig neugierig, wie das Leben weitergeht", sagte Berben. Sie lebe gern, "auch bei all diesen Komplikationen, die es momentan gibt und die mich extrem belasten".
Sie mache ihre Schritte nicht mehr mit derselben Selbstverständlichkeit wie früher, sondern sie stelle vieles infrage. "Wenn man aber trotzdem so gern lebt wie ich, dann ist der Tod ein Störenfried", sagte Berben.
