Regionalzug fährt in Schleswig-Holstein in 50-köpfige Schafherde
Ein Regionalzug ist am Sonntag im schleswig-holsteinischen Nordfriesland in eine größere Schafherde gefahren und hat sieben Tiere getötet. Wie die Bundespolizei in Flensburg mitteilte, war die aus etwa 50 Schafen bestehenden Herde zwischen Almdorf und Hattstedt nördlich von Husum auf die Gleise gelaufen. Der Lokführer des zwischen Hamburg und Sylt verkehrenden Zugs konnte trotz Notbremsung nicht rechtzeitig stoppen.
Nach Angaben der Bundespolizei überstanden die etwa 150 Reisenden in dem Zug den Zwischenfall unverletzt. Sie mussten zunächst ausharren, bis die Strecke geräumt war und die Bahn nach Bredstedt weiterfuhr. Dort stiegen sie in einen anderen Zug um. Gegen den Schafhalter wird wegen gefährlichen Eingriffs in den Bahnverkehr ermittelt. Von der Streckensperrung waren 14 Züge betroffen.
