"Forbes": Popstar Taylor Swift ist nun Milliardärin
Taylor Swift gehört nun zum Club der Milliardäre. Das US-Magazin "Forbes" bezifferte am Dienstag das Vermögen der 34-jährigen US-Popsängerin auf 1,1 Milliarden Dollar (1,02 Milliarden Euro). Demnach ist Swift der erste Star der Musikbranche, der allein mit Einnahmen aus seiner Musik die Schwelle zum Milliardenvermögen überschritten hat.
Zwar haben es schon andere Größen der Branche wie Rihanna oder Jay-Z in den Milliardärsclub geschafft, dies aber auch dank Einnahmen aus anderen Geschäftszweigen wie etwa sonstigen Aktivitäten im Unterhaltungsbusiness oder aus der Modebranche oder dem Alkoholvertrieb.
Swift befindet sich auf dem Höhepunkt des Ruhms. Im Februar gewann sie bereits zum vierten Mal den US-Musikpreis Grammy für das beste Album des Jahres und stellte damit einen Rekord auf.
In weniger als einem Jahr schwoll Swifts Vermögen um 360 Millionen Dollar an - großteils durch ihre Welttournee "The Eras Tour", die aus 152 Konzerten besteht und noch bis Dezember dauern soll. Laut Schätzungen ist "Eras" auf Kurs, mit Einnahmen von mehr als zwei Milliarden Dollar zur kommerziell erfolgreichsten Tour der Musikgeschichte zu werden.
Swift verfügt auch über ein erhebliches Immobilienvermögen, mit Häusern in New York, im kalifornischen Beverly Hills, in der Countrymusik-Metropole Nashville im US-Bundesstaat Tennessee und im Bundesstaat Rhode Island an der US-Ostküste. Am 19. April soll ihr neues Album "The Tortured Poets Department" erscheinen.
