Ausgeprägte männliche Muskeln und weibliche Rundungen sind einer Umfrage zufolge bei vielen Deutschen nicht mehr angesagt. Als schön empfunden werden bei beiden Geschlechtern heute eher sportlich-schlanke Silhouetten und damit ein Schönheitsideal in "Richtung Androgynität", wie eine am Dienstag in München veröffentlichte Umfrage des Meinungsforschungsinstituts Norstat im Auftrag des Magazins "Playboy" zeigt.
Gerade einmal jede zehnte Frau findet demnach ausgeprägte Muskeln bei Männern schön. Mehr als dreimal so viele bevorzugen mittlerweile Männer mit einer schlanken Figur. Auch 44 Prozent der befragten Männer ziehen der Umfrage zufolge bei Frauen eine schlanke Linie einer vollbusigen Figur vor. Letztere bevorzugen nur 16 Prozent der Männer.
Gut jeder Fünfte (21 Prozent) findet Schönheitsideale an sich antiquiert. Gleichwohl legt eine Mehrheit von 71 Prozent großen Wert auf das eigene Aussehen. Knapp die Hälfte treibt aus diesem Grund regelmäßig Sport (49 Prozent) und nutzt tägliche kosmetische Pflege (48 Prozent).
39 Prozent gehen regelmäßig zum Friseur, 22 Prozent nehmen Nahrungsergänzungsmittel zu sich, 31 Prozent der Frauen und elf Prozent der Männer gehen regelmäßig zur Maniküre. Befragt wurden 1031 repräsentativ ausgewählte Frauen und Männer.
