Komitee gibt diesjährigen Friedensnobelpreis-Träger bekannt
Das Nobelkomitee in Oslo gibt am Freitag (11.00 Uhr) bekannt, wer in diesem Jahr den Friedensnobelpreis erhält. Im Vorfeld der Verleihung vermuteten Experten, dass das Komitee mit dem Preis entweder ein Zeichen gegen den Krieg in der Ukraine oder für den Klimaschutz setzen wird. Als mögliche Preisträger waren unter anderem die belarussische Oppositionsführerin Swetlana Tichanowskaja, der inhaftierte Kreml-Kritiker Alexej Nawalny und der ukrainische Präsident Wolodymyr Selenskyj genannt worden.
Auch Klimaaktivistin Greta Thunberg und der britische Naturforscher David Attenborough waren im Gespräch. Diese Woche wurden in Stockholm bereits die Nobelpreise für Medizin, Physik, Chemie und Literatur verkündet. Am Montag folgt die Auszeichnung für Wirtschaftswissenschaften. Im vergangenen Jahr waren die Journalisten Maria Ressa von den Philippinen und Dmitri Muratow aus Russland mit dem Friedensnobelpreis ausgezeichnet worden.
