Bundesgerichtshof verhandelt über illegales Rennen mit einer Toten in Moers
Der Bundesgerichtshof (BGH) befasst sich am Donnerstag (11.00 Uhr) bereits zum zweiten Mal mit einem illegalen Autorennen im nordrhein-westfälischen Moers, in dessen Folge eine Frau starb. Zwei Männer rasten an Ostern 2019 mit maximaler Beschleunigung nebeneinander durch die Stadt. Einer von ihnen prallte auf das Auto der Frau, die wenig später ihren schweren Verletzungen erlag. Nur um diesen Raser geht es am BGH nun. Das Landgericht Kleve verurteilte ihn zunächst wegen Mordes, dieses Urteil hob der BGH aber 2021 auf und verwies es zur neuerlichen Verhandlung zurück. Daraufhin verurteilte das Landgericht den Angeklagten wegen eines verbotenen Kraftfahrzeugrennens mit Todesfolge zu einer Haftstrafe von vier Jahren. Gegen dieses zweite Urteil zogen die Staatsanwaltschaft und die Nebenklage vor den BGH. Der andere Raser ist bereits rechtskräftig verurteilt.
