Zwei Tote bei Absturz von Kleinflugzeug in Niederbayern
Beim Absturz eines Kleinflugzeugs sind in Niederbayern am Mittwoch zwei Menschen ums Leben gekommen. Bei den Toten handelte es sich um die beiden Insassen des Flugzeugs, wie eine Polizeisprecherin in Straubing sagte. Weitere Menschen sollen nach ersten Erkenntnissen nicht an Bord gewesen sein. Das Flugzeug stürzte aus bislang unbekannten Gründen in der Nähe des Nationalparkzentrums Bayerischer Wald im Landkreis Freyung-Grafenau ab.
Den Angaben zufolge alarmierten Zeugen gegen 09.00 Uhr die Polizei. Demnach kreiste das einmotorige Kleinflugzeug zunächst in der Luft in der Nähe des Nationalparks in Neuschönau, bevor es in ein Waldstück stürzte. Die Identität der Toten war zunächst unklar. Auch über die Flugroute des Kleinflugzeugs lagen zunächst keine Informationen vor. Die Unfallstelle wurde weiträumig abgesperrt. Die Ermittlungen dauerten an.
