Unbekannte stehlen in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern hundert Fernseher von Lastwagen
Rund hundert Fernseher haben Unbekannte in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern von der Ladefläche eines Lastwagens gestohlen. Die Diebe schnitten zuvor die Plane des geparkten Aufliegers auf, wie die Polizei in Ludwigslust am Dienstag mitteilte. Demnach schlugen die Täter in der Nacht auf einem Autohof in Wittenburg an der Autobahn 24 zu.
Der Lastwagenfahrer gab an, zum Tatzeitpunkt in der Fahrerkabine geschlafen und den Diebstahl daher nicht bemerkt zu haben. Die aufgeschnittene Plane sei ihm erst am Dienstagmorgen aufgefallen. Die Polizei ermittelt nun wegen Diebstahls im besonders schweren Fall.
Den Umständen entsprechend sei von einer gezielten Tat auszugehen, hieß es. Die Täter müssen die Beute mit einem größeren Transportfahrzeug weggeschafft haben. Durch den Diebstahl entstand ein Schaden in Höhe von etwa 40.000 Euro. Die Fernseher sollten ursprünglich nach Dänemark transportiert werden.
