Rund 200 Menschen aus Nachtzug in Österreich wegen Feuer in Tunnel evakuiert
Wegen eines Feuers in einem Tunnel ist in Österreich am Mittwochabend ein Nachtzug der Österreichischen Bundesbahn (ÖBB) evakuiert worden. Nach Angaben der Polizei wurden 200 Menschen in Sicherheit gebracht, etwa 45 Menschen seien leicht verletzt worden. Der Nightjet passierte den Terfener Tunnel in der Nähe von Innsbruck in Tirol, als mutmaßlich durch eine gerissene Oberleitung ein Feuer ausgelöst wurde, wie ein Bahnsprecher der Nachrichtenagentur AFP sagte.
Nach Angaben des ÖBB-Sprechers hatte der Nachtzug am Mittwochabend Wien verlassen. Nach einer Zugteilung hätte er planmäßig am Donnerstagmorgen in Hamburg und Amsterdam eintreffen sollen.
Nach Angaben des Bahnsprechers war das Feuer um 23.00 Uhr gelöscht und die Evakuierung der Fahrgäste um 23.40 Uhr abgeschlossen.
