Jugendliche sollen Haus des "Kannibalen von Rotenburg" angezündet haben
Rund zwei Monate nach dem Brand des Hauses des sogenannten Kannibalen von Rotenburg in Hessen sind zwei Jugendliche in den Fokus der Ermittlungen gerückt. Gegen beide werde derzeit ermittelt, sagte eine Sprecherin der Staatsanwaltschaft Fulda am Mittwoch. Auch wegen einer Brandserie im hessischen Alheim Anfang April werde gegen sie ermittelt.
Weitere Details nannte die Sprecherin nicht. In der Nacht zum 17. April war das leerstehende Haus des Kannibalen von Rotenburg abgebrannt. Das dreistöckige Fachwerkhaus wurde vollständig zerstört. Verletzt wurde niemand. Es entstand ein Schaden im unteren sechsstelligen Bereich.
Eine Brandstiftung schlossen die Ermittler schon zu Beginn der Ermittlungen nicht aus. In dem Haus hatte Armin M. im Jahr 2001 einen anderen Mann getötet, zerstückelt und Teile seiner Leiche gegessen. Er wurde 2006 wegen Mordes zu lebenslanger Haft verurteilt.
