Zwei Leichen neben Straße im niedersächsischen Salzhausen entdeckt
Im niedersächsischen Salzhausen sind zwei Leichen neben zwei an einer Straße abgestellten Autos gefunden worden. Wie die Polizei in Buchholz in der Nordheide am Mittwoch erklärte, handelte es sich bei den Toten nach ersten Erkenntnissen um einen 74-Jährigen und dessen 44-jährige ehemalige Partnerin. Der Mann tötete demnach zunächst seine frühere Lebensgefährtin auf noch unbekannte Weise und erschoss sich selbst.
Nach Angaben der Polizei hatte eine Zeugin die Fahrzeuge und die Leichen an einer Verbindungsstraße in einem Feld- und Wiesengebiet entdeckt und war zunächst von einem Verkehrsunfall ausgegangen. Eintreffende Einsatzkräfte stellten aber fest, dass es sich offensichtlich um ein Verbrechen handelte.
Demnach wies der Mann eine tödliche Schussverletzung auf, während die leblose Frau direkt hinter einem Auto lag, das im Heckbereich brannte. Kurz darauf breiteten sich die Flammen den Beamten zufolge schlagartig aus und erfassten den Leichnam, der verbrannte. Wie sie starb, war daher zunächst noch unklar. Laut Polizei waren die Abläufe des Geschehens anhand der Spurenlage aber bereits klar, auch eine großkalibrige Schusswaffe wurde am Tatort gefunden.
