Prozess um Totschlag an hundertjähriger Großmutter in Hamburg begonnen
Vor dem Landgericht Hamburg hat am Donnerstag ein Prozess um einen Totschlag an einer Hundertjährigen begonnen. Angeklagt ist ein 37-Jähriger, der seine eigene Großmutter im März mit einem Beil angegriffen haben soll. Dabei versetzte er ihr laut Anklage mindestens 16 Schläge gegen Kopf und Hals.
Die im Rollstuhl sitzende Frau soll versucht haben, den Angriff abzuwehren. Die Hundertjährige fiel dabei auf den Boden und erlitt Hautdurchtrennungen sowie einen Bruch des Schultergelenks. Sie starb an einem Rückenmarksschock.
Motiv für die Tat soll die Überforderung des 37-Jährigen mit der Pflege seiner Großmutter gewesen sein. Das Gericht setzte für den Prozess Verhandlungstermine bis Mitte November an.
