Spanische Justiz spricht früheren Hells-Angels-Boss Hanebuth frei
Die spanische Justiz hat am Dienstag den unter anderem wegen Drogenhandels und Zuhälterei angeklagten ehemaligen deutschen Hells-Angels-Boss Frank Hanebuth freigesprochen. Nach Ansicht des Nationalen Gerichtshof in Madrid konnte nicht nachgewiesen werden, dass Hanebuth auf Mallorca einen Ableger des berüchtigten Rockerclubs gegründet habe, um "die kriminellen Aktivitäten" anzuleiten, die Gegenstand des Prozesses gewesen seien. Auch zwölf weitere Mitglieder des Motorrad-Clubs wurden freigesprochen.
Hanebuth war 2013 auf der spanischen Ferieninsel Mallorca festgenommen worden. Mit ihm standen seit Ende Januar mehr als vierzig Mitglieder des Hells-Angels-Ablegers wegen Erpressung, Drogenhandels, illegalen Waffenbesitzes oder Zuhälterei vor einem Gericht in Fernando de Henares bei Madrid. Laut dem Nationalen Gerichtshof erhielten 32 von ihnen geringe Strafen, die anderen wurden freigesprochen.
Die Staatsanwaltschaft hatte in dem Prozess zwölf Jahre Haft für den früheren Rocker-Chef Hanebuth gefordert. Dieser hatte jegliches kriminelles Verhalten bestritten und versichert, dass die Hells Angels "keine kriminelle Organisation" seien. Seine Verteidigung forderte einen Freispruch. Auch der Nationale Gerichtshof sah den Tatbestand der Gründung einer kriminellen Vereinigung letztlich nicht als erwiesen an.
Der Ex-Boxer Hanebuth war früher Chef der Hells-Angels-Sektion in Hannover und galt bis zu seinem Umzug nach Mallorca als zentrale Figur der deutschen Organisation der Motorrad-Gang. Er soll in der niedersächsischen Landeshauptstadt weite Teile des Rotlichtmilieus kontrolliert haben.
