Früherer K-Pop-Star nach Haft wegen Vergewaltigung aus Gefängnis entlassen
Der frühere südkoreanische K-Pop-Star Jung Joon Jung ist nach einer fünfjährigen Gefängnisstrafe wegen gemeinschaftlicher Vergewaltigung und illegaler Videoaufnahmen aus der Haft entlassen worden. Das Gesicht hinter einer schwarzen Maske verborgen, verließ der 35-Jährige am Dienstag das Gefängnis in Mokpo südlich von Seoul, wie die Nachrichtenagentur News1 berichtete.
Jung war im Jahr 2016 wegen Vergewaltigung sowie wegen heimlich gemachter Videos verurteilt worden, die ihn beim Sex mit Frauen zeigten. Der Fall war Anfang 2019 aufgeflogen, Jung hatte daraufhin seinen Abschied vom Showgeschäft verkündet.
Jungs Fall gehört zu einer ganzen Serie von Sex-Skandalen männlicher Stars, die in Südkorea Schlagzeilen gemacht hatten. Er warf ein Schlaglicht auf ein in dem Land weitverbreitetes Phänomen, bei dem Frauen mit Mini-Kameras in öffentlichen Toiletten, Hotelzimmern, Schulen oder beim Geschlechtsverkehr heimlich gefilmt und die Aufnahmen - häufig auf Porno-Websites - weiterverbreitet werden.
