Viereinhalb Jahre Haft für Bankkauffrau nach Diebstahl von Kundengeldern
In Wuppertal ist eine Bankkauffrau, die Konten und Schließfächer von Kunden plünderte, zu einer viereinhalbjährigen Haftstrafe verurteilt worden. Wie eine Sprecherin des Landgerichts am Dienstag mitteilte, wurde die Angeklagte wegen Computerbetrugs in 88 Fällen sowie in weiteren Fällen wegen Betrugs und Diebstahls schuldig gesprochen. Zudem ordnete das Gericht die Einziehung von 175.000 Euro an.
Die Staatsanwaltschaft warf der Bankkauffrau aus Solingen vor, ihre Stellung ausgenutzt zu haben, um auf Vermögenswerte von Bankkunden zuzugreifen. Laut Anklage ging es insgesamt um Werte in Höhe von rund 600.000 Euro. Die Frau soll sich demnach selbst mehrere hunderttausend Euro von Kundenkonten überwiesen haben. Während einer Beschäftigung bei einer anderen Bank soll sie zudem Bargeld und Schmuck aus Schließfächern gestohlen haben.
