Angeblicher Wahrsager betrügt in Bayern 38-Jährige um mehrere hunderttausend Euro
Ein angeblicher Wahrsager hat eine 38-Jährige aus Bayern um mehrere hunderttausend Euro betrogen. Bei einer geplanten Geldübergabe wurde eine mutmaßlich in den Betrug involvierte 24-Jährige festgenommen, wie die Polizei Regensburg am Freitag mitteilte. Die 38-Jährige erstattete demnach am Mittwoch in Sulzbach-Rosenberg eine Anzeige. Sie hatte einige Wochen zuvor einen Esoterikdienst kontaktiert, der bei einem ausländischen Fernsehsender beworben wurde.
Für diese Dienste bezahlte die Frau nach und nach mehrere hunderttausend Euro. Nach einer weiteren Forderung im sechsstelligen Bereich sei sie stutzig geworden und habe sich an die Polizei gewandt. Diese vereinbarte mit der Frau eine begleitete weitere Geldübergabe. Als Abholerin wurde auf einem Parkplatz in der Stadt die 24-Jährige festgenommen.
Die Beamten gehen davon aus, dass der Betrug professionell von mehreren Menschen organisiert wird und dies kein Einzelfall gewesen sei. Gegen die 24-Jährige wird wegen des Anfangsverdachts des gewerbsmäßigen Betrugs ermittelt. Sie befindet sich in Untersuchungshaft.
