Schüsse auf 20-Jährigen in Niedersachsen: Opfer stirbt nach Tagen in Krankenhaus
Ein vor mehreren Tagen im niedersächsischen Rinteln auf offener Straße niedergeschossener 20-Jähriger ist am Wochenende an seinen schweren Verletzungen gestorben. Die Ermittlungen zu dem Vorfall vom Mittwoch würden nun wegen eines vollendeten Tötungsdelikts geführt, teilte die Polizei in Nienburg am Montag mit. Eine Mordkommission bearbeite den Fall. Einzelheiten könnten derzeit aber nicht genannt werden.
Der junge Mann war nach früheren Angaben von Polizei und Staatsanwaltschaft am Mittwochabend im Rintelner Stadtteil Engern auf offener Straße von mehreren Schüssen getroffen worden. Zunächst kam er mit lebensgefährlichen Verletzungen in ein Krankenhaus. Eine großangelegte Täterfahndung blieb erfolglos. Die Hintergründe des Geschehens waren weiter unklar, die Ermittler äußerten sich bislang nicht zu Details oder möglichen Motiven.
