Zwei Tote nach Zusammenstoß von Kleinbus mit Lastwagen in Kleve
Bei einem Zusammenstoß zwischen einem Lastwagen und einem Kleinbus sind in Kleve zwei Männer ums Leben gekommen. Die Kollision ereignete sich in der Nacht zum Freitag an einer Kreuzung, wie die Polizei in der nordrhein-westfälischen Stadt am Freitag mitteilte. Durch die Wucht des Zusammenstoßes sei der Kleinbus gegen eine Hauswand gedrückt worden. Mehrere Unfallbeteiligte wurden zudem schwer verletzt.
Weshalb es genau zu der Kollision kam, war zunächst unklar. Ein 22- und ein 34-Jähriger konnten nur noch tot aus dem Kleinbus geborgen werden. Eine 24-jährige Frau, die ebenfalls darin saß, wurde schwer verletzt und schwebte in Lebensgefahr, wie die Polizei erklärte. Auch der 48-jährige Fahrer des Kleinbusses sowie der 31-jährige Fahrer des Lastwagens erlitten schwere Verletzungen.
Der Unfall ereignete sich kurz nach Mitternacht. Während der Bergungsarbeiten und der Unfallaufnahme blieb der Kreuzungsbereich bis in den Vormittag gesperrt. Im Einsatz waren etwa 40 Feuerwehrkräfte sowie Polizei und Rettungsdienst mit mehreren Rettungswagen. Die Ermittlungen zur Unfallursache dauerten an.
