Ein 40-Jähriger soll im niedersächsischen Göttingen fast hundert Autos zerkratzt und damit einen Schaden von mehreren hunderttausend Euro verursacht haben. Wie die Polizei am Freitag mitteilte, wurde er anhand von Videos einer privaten Überwachungskamera als mutmaßlicher Täter identifiziert. Die Ermittlungen gegen ihn liefen noch.
Nach Angaben der Beamten ereignete sich das Tatgeschehen bereits in der Nacht zum vergangenen Samstag im Stadtteil Ostviertel. Dabei wurde der Lack von annähernd hundert Fahrzeugen mit einem spitzen Gegenstand beschädigt. Der Sachschaden liegt laut Polizei in einem "mittleren sechsstelligen Bereich", lässt sich aber noch nicht genauer beziffern. Demnach wurde gegen den Beschuldigten bereits im vergangen Jahr wegen vergleichbarer Taten ermittelt.
